The album will be their debut in Japan. The album was reportedly will contain 15 songs, one of which contained the song 'The Boys' in Japanese and English versions. In addition, there are also some new songs and three remixes of the original album tracks 'The Boys', as quoted by allkpop, Tuesday (06/12/2011).
Not only contains a collection of songs, the album will also give SNSD's fans a concept album that fresh that has not been made by the K-Pop idol.
The repackaged of The Boys will consist of two versions, the regular CD and limited edition CD will be released in turn. Both are still packing a 36 pages photobook, and a bonus of the video clip 'The Boys' and 'Girl Bad' English version.
